Schlafender Hase Set for Further Expansion with New Leadership Team

Frankfurt, GERMANY (August 23, 2017) – Schlafender Hase, the maker of the Text Verification Tool® (TVT) – a leading software in text and graphic verification ­– announces today the retirement of one of its co-founders, Willie Schnaubelt, as well as a reorganization of its leadership team.

Willie Schnaubelt and Frank Hessler co-founded Schlafender Hase 15 years ago and created the text and graphic verification software, known today as the Text Verification Tool® (TVT).  “Schlafender Hase has established itself as the Global Leader for text and graphic verification and I feel confident that it will stay on this successful path” said Willie Schnaubelt. “Willie has been instrumental in the continuing success of our company, and will be missed by his colleagues, clients and partners” said Frank Hessler.

Frank Hessler will continue to lead the company as Managing Director and Peter Muller, Managing Director – Americas, will, in addition, take the position of Global Sales and Marketing Director.

Wieland Capital, a family office, has become a shareholder of the company. The common goal of Schlafender Hase and Wieland Capital is to preserve Schlafender Hase’s unparalleled product and service quality, with the intention to provide a range of new products that will advance the offering and customer experience even further.  “Wieland Capital’s entrepreneurial approach fits perfectly to our business culture. We are looking forward to working with them” said Frank Hessler.

These changes will have no effect on our customers, who can continue to expect the same high-quality products and services they always have.
