Frankfurt, GERMANY (October 22, 2020) – Schlafender Hase®, the leader in smart proofreading software for sensitive, high-volume packaging and labeling requirements, has introduced TVT Connect. TVT Connect is an Application Programming Interface (API) that makes it possible to integrate all functionalities of the company’s flagship automated proofreading software, TVT® (Text Verification Tool®), with any information management system. TVT Connect works easily with both web-based and on-premise systems.

“Most customers are using or implementing an Artwork Management System (AMS) or some other information management system,” said Frank Hessler, Managing Director of Schlafender Hase. “This helps users gain better control of their processes and increase efficiencies, and they want to use TVT directly from these systems.”

With reference to the company’s current core user group in the pharma and medical device industries, Mr. Hessler stated: “With TVT Connect, current TVT users can take advantage of the possibilities offered in any information management system – without making any compromises when it comes to their proofreading.” TVT Connect makes it possible to integrate with any Content Management System/Electronic Document Management (CMS/EDM) such as Artwork Management System (AMS), Regulatory Information Management (RIM), Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and Quality Management System (QMS). “In any information management system, TVT is a unique link in the value chain that significantly increases the strength of the entire value chain,” emphasized Hessler.

The company is confident that TVT Connect will help find new ways to increase automation and eliminate errors. “With its new ability to integrate with any information management system, we are convinced that the qualities that made TVT the leader in the rigorous pharma industry can also make TVT a leader in other industries like fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) and consumer product goods (CPG).”
